CINDY/DYNAMO is an international meteorological and oceanographic field campaign, running from September 2011 to January 2012 in the Indian Ocean. Its aim is to investigate the conditions that lead to the initiation of the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO), a large-scale weather/climate system that has global weather and climate impacts.
As part of CINDY/DYNAMO, researchers at UEA have deployed a Seaglider to measure the ocean conditions throughout the MJO.
Data from the Seaglider can be found on the UEA Seaglider site, by selecting Mission 8.
Quick look plots of raw data from the seaglider can be found here.
